What a start to 2018!
As 2017 was coming to an end we were expecting to have the business plan finished, suits made, business cards printed and have our sales pitch ready to approach the luxury hotels and tour companies, inviting them to work with us on this exciting new venture. What actually happened was the development of a pre-launch social marketing campaign and several social visits to luxury hotels around Hanoi. If running this enterprise is as much fun as planning it, then we are in for a good year.
The business card:
2018 arrived, the business plan is almost complete, the business cards got made, the suit tailored and the social media marketing campaign is well on the way. We are conducting the final stages of market research by asking our friends, family and followers to give their opinions on what we have to offer. Once we analyse the findings from this research and complete the business plan, we're ready to start approaching the hotels.
So what next?
Besides the final stages of research and building a sales pitch, we are making huge efforts to increase our social media presence as we believe this is the way to meet out customers' needs. We are only a part way through the research but when over 95% of the people surveyed stated that they book their holidays online or through an app, we knew how important this aspect of the process was. We are focusing our efforts on what we know and what we know our customers use; Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Kakao Story. In the coming weeks we'll be fine tuning our sales pitch and begin to approach the luxurious hotels of Vietnam; hoping to work together to bring tourists to Vietnam for unique adventures, magical experiences and to immerse themselves into an exciting range of people and their cultures.
