The energy behind ‘Vouchers for Vietnam’ comes from our collective love of luxury travel. Our co-founders have a total experience of 50+ years of travelling throughout Asia and as age has begun to creep up on us, luxury travel has become a more prominent feature of our travel itineraries.
Vietnam’s luxury tourism industry is expanding at a rapid pace and consequently the options available to travellers have never been better. One day, when reading a Vietnamese newspaper online, an intriguing article stood out for the headline “Vietnam set to become a MICE ‘tiger’ of Southeast Asia”. Our entrepreneurial spirit was invoked. A mind mapping Skype chat was organised for the Sunday evening and on the call the energy was almost palpable. After the initial struggle to maintain focus on one single idea we concluded that we would be most interested in working with hotels and tours, after all it’s what we know best. In the following days, we probably spent too much time on the research stage and consolidating our ideas into a workable business plan but it was worth the effort in the end. The final influencing factor in shaping our final offering was the fact that we wanted to help businesses and customers alike. We know it’s possible to have a win-win-win situation, we just needed to tweak our ideas to shape it. The final result was Vouchers for Vietnam: our organisation works hard to make discounted deals with hotels and tour companies in Vietnam so that visitors can double the value of their luxury travel.
We have created a voucher book that offers customers various options for luxury travel. Each page of the book is worth $100 or more in discounts / deals and the price of the book itself is $100. Use one page of the book and customers have got their money back. Every page after that is saving customers 100s of dollars with every use. We are not going to need a persuasive marketing plan to sell this voucher book, it sells itself.
So far, several hotels have agreed to feature in our voucher book and are offering 2-for-1 offers on their rooms. Pay for one night, get the second night free. Some of the tour companies are offering two guests for the price of one on their 2 or 3 day tours, meaning unbelievable savings. We are currently in the process of approaching more hotels and tour companies to feature in our voucher book and love the thought of not only creating exceptional value for visitors to Vietnam but also do our part for the luxury tourism market – after all, it is in our selfish interests to support the industry we intend to use more frequently over the coming years.
The website is approximately 80% complete and once the deals with hotels and tour companies are finalised we can begin to move into the final stages of releasing the website and begin selling the voucher book to our eager customers. We hope you continue to read through our blog posts and we will keep you updated with news, developments and any deals that are added to our voucher book as we go.
Thank you for your interest in Vouchers for Vietnam.
